Sculptra® treatments are designed to promote continuous collagen production so that your skin continues to improve in appearance over time, long after treatment. Results can last up to two years!
Sculptra® is used to diminish wrinkles, fine lines, and folds, and restore lost volume in the face that can result from age, illness, or other causes by helping to stimulate your skin’s natural collagen production both during and after treatment. Sculptra® can also be used proactively in patients who are beginning to show signs of volume loss. In some cases, depending on the patient, when administered proactively, tissue improvement may start to show after only one treatment.
Technically, Sculptra® includes dermal filler and can have a filling effect when first administered, but the filler completely dissolves into your skin cells after only a few hours, supercharging them. Sculptra® is a biostimulator, meaning it causes your own cells to increase their production of elastin and collagen. Sculptra continues to work post-treatment, helping your skin to age better over time for gradual, natural-looking, and long-lasting results.
